Event Group Registration Wizard

Use the Group Registration Wizard to hold multiple slots within an event with the ability to add the individual registrant information at a later time.

The Group Registration Wizard has seven steps. This topic covers all of the following seven steps:

  1. Step 1: Group Info
  2. Step 2: Registrant
  3. Step 3: Fee
  4. Step 4: Guest
  5. Step 5: Products
  6. Step 6: Demographics/Housing
  7. Step 7: Review/Payment

Step 1: Group Info

  1. Fill in the fields as described in the table below.

    reg dateOptionalThe registration date defaults to today's date. Click in the field or on the calendar icon to change the date.
  2. The Registrants Section of the form lists registrants and guests. Click the delete button to delete the Registrant and any associated guests. Click the edit button to open the Edit Registration window. The Edit Registration window presents all the fields you have edited so far in the wizard in one window for editing. Make your changes and click OK.
  3. Click Add a Registrant to move on to the next step in the wizard. Click the Review/Edit button to jump to Step 7: Review/ Payment in the wizard.

Step 2: Registrant

  1. Fill in the Registrant fields as described in the table below.

  2. Fill in the Badge fields as described in the table below.

  3. Click Next to move on to Step 3:Fee.

Step 3: Fee

  1. Click the check box beside each Event you would like to register the group for.
  2. Click the total button to see the total price for all the events you chose.
  3. Click the Back button to return to the previous step in the wizard. Click the Next button to go to the next page in the Fee process. Click the Skip to Agenda button to skip to the Registrant's agenda.
  4. Review the Registrant Info, the fee information, and the guest information.
  5. Click the Back button to return to the previous page in the Fee step of the wizard. Click the Next button to go to the next step in the wizard. Click the Skip to Agenda button to skip to the Registrant's agenda.

Step 4: Guest

  1. Fill in the Guest Registrant Info fields as described in the table below.
  2. Field Required Description
    badge name Required Enter the guest's first name.
    org name Optional Enter the name of the organization that the guest is a part of.
    title Optional Enter the guest's title.
    city Optional Enter the guest's home city.
    country Optional Enter the guest's home country.
    state Optional Enter the guest's home state.
    guest reg type Required

    Selecting a registrant type could alter what Event Fees, Tracks, and Sessions will display due to specific Price Attributes.

    reg date Required The reg date defaults to today's date.
  3. In the Event Fees, Tracks, and Sessions sections, select the activity the guest wants to register for.
  4. Click the total button to see the total fee for everything you have selected.
  5. Type the guest's disability or dietary requirements in the ADA & Special Dietary Needs field.
  6. Click the Back button to go back to the last Fee page. Click the Save Guest button to save the guest information and return to the Guest Entry form. Click the Next button to go back to Step 1: Group info with all the Registrants listed.

  1. Fill in the Bill To Information field as described in the table below.

  2. Fill in the Ship To Information fields as described in the table below.

    source codeOptionala code that represents where or how you initiated the relationship with that Individual
    media codeOptionala code used to track how something (usually an invoice or payment) arrives at or is received by the Association
  3. Check the Line Items section for accuracy.
  • Click the Additional Items drop-down for a list of other actions you can perform such as the following:
    • add discount
    • add shipping
    • edit discount
    • apply discount program
  • Click the delete button to delete a registrant and any associated guest.
  • Click the edit button to open the Edit Line Item window.
  • Click the Event name link to see the event picture and details.
  • Click the net credit link to open the Apply Credit window.
